Město Svratka

The town Svratka lies in the District of The Highlands, in the region of Žďár nad Sázavou, in the centre of the Nature Protected Area of the territory of the Žďárské hills.

The town is in 652 metres above sea level and can be found on the crossroads of the second class roads No. 354, No. 350 and No. 343. The town is about 50 kms far from the highway D1 (Exit Velký Beranov or Velká Bíteš towards Žďár nad Sázavou).

There live 1 470 inhabitants in 580 houses. A lot of houses are used only for recreation.
